So, we’re done with 2 out of 4 main topics in PRINCE2 (principles, people, practices, and processes). Next, we’ll start discussing the longest PRINCE2 topic, the “practices”.
Do you know what they used to be called in the previous versions of PRINCE2? Their old name was “themes”. There’s a similar concept in the PMBOK® Guide (a famous project management guide), and it’s called “knowledge areas”.
How many of the practices can you name without looking them up? If you’ve missed any, think about it; why couldn’t you remember it?! We mentioned a few extra topics. You don’t have to know them for the exam, but they can be interesting topics:
