All courses are based on the 7th edition of PRINCE2 (the current edition).

The first lessons of each of these courses are free, so that you can try them before buying the course. Note: The first 30% of the courses used to be free, but because of the recent constraints from PeopleCert, we’re not allowed to offer more than 15% of the scope or more than 90 minutes of the duration for free.

If you’re not ready for a complete standard training course in PRINCE2 and only want to gain an introductory understanding of it with a minimum investment of time, you can use our Awareness Course:

Is PRINCE2 the right choice for me?

PRINCE2 is a generic project management methodology, meaning that it gives you a lot of information about roles and responsibilities, documents, steps of work, and more. It’s a practical, structured way of running projects, and it can be used for projects of any type and size. So, if you’re involved in projects, PRINCE2 will be a helpful resource for you.

Is PRINCE2 the highest priority for me?

If you work in IT development projects, Agile and Scrum training and certifications have the highest priority because of the market demand, and the second priority goes to PRINCE2. For everyone else, it’s a good idea to give the highest priority to PRINCE2.

What do the certification levels mean?

You can start your training and certification with PRINCE2 Foundation, and then, if you want, you can proceed to the higher level of PRINCE2 Practitioner. The goal of the Foundation level is to become aware of how projects can be managed in a structured and effective way, and to become a productive member of such projects. The goal of the Practitioner level is to become knowledgeable enough to tailor and implement PRINCE2 in projects.

We recommend aiming for PRINCE2 Agile certificate after you’re done with PRINCE2 Practitioner and an Agile training.

What are the prerequisites?

PRINCE2 Foundation doesn’t have any prerequisites.

For PRINCE2 Practitioner, you should have one of these certificates before the Practitioner exam: PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP®, CAPM®, IPMA-D, IPMA-C, IPMA-B, IPMA-A. However, this is only for the exam; when it comes to your training, you need to take the PRINCE2 Foundation (or do self-study) before taking the PRINCE2 Practitioner course.

You should also take an accredited course before taking the exam.

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation doesn’t have any prerequisites, but we don’t offer training content for it as we believe that it’s best to aim for PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner.

For PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, you should have one of these certificates before the exam: PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PMP, CAPM, IPMA-D, IPMA-C, IPMA-B, IPMA-A. For the training, you need to take PRINCE2 Foundation training as well as training in one of the Agile programs such as ASF. Training in PRINCE2 Practitioner is recommended.
