The syllabus will guide the design, development and use of training materials as well as training aimed at raising individual’s understanding of, and competence in, IT service management as described in the ITIL Service Strategy, ITIL Service Design, ITIL Service Transition, ITIL Service Operation, ITIL Continual Service Improvement, ITIL Introduction and ITIL Glossary publications. The syllabus has been designed with ease of reference, extensibility and ease of maintenance in mind.

The material is fully aligned with the latest changes in ITIL 3. However, in parallel to ITIL 3, there’s a new version, ITIL 4 as well.
There’s no date for the retirement of ITIL 3 yet, and candidates can choose either version. We also provide training material for both of them (separately).

ITIL Foundation is the first level of certification in ITIL. After you become certified, you have the option to proceed to the Practitioner, Intermediate, Expert, and Master levels.
Most people who are certified in ITIL find the Foundation certificate sufficient for their goals.
After your purchase, we will contact you to confirm your personal information. Then we will register you in the examination institute and send you the exam voucher, using which you can book and take your exam.

The unbored.training platform was our eLearning delivery platform for a few years, until the end of 2020, and learners needed to go there to take their eLearning courses. Now we’ve added the learning management system to our main website, mplaza.training, and unbored is retired.

The scope of ITIL 4 Foundation is significantly smaller than ITIL 3 Foundation (about a half). If your goal is to learn as much as possible, or your organization uses ITIL 3, then ITIL 3 is a good option. If you prefer to take the easier or more up-to-date program, or your organization uses ITIL 4, then ITIL 4 is your best option.
If you have no idea which one to choose, it probably means that your best choice is ITIL 4.
